Respecting the Spirit

Whether it’s in the field or at home by yourself, today’s ghost hunters and paranormal investigators for the most part have little to no respect for those in the spirit realm. Not that they all have such a mindset, but unfortunately with all that’s being aired on the screen via cable or streaming, many shows and even movies tend to show vocal force in challenging or demanding spirits to perform or make their presence known.

We as beings tend to forget that at one time or another, spirits or ghosts did bear a physical being, they had loved ones, friends and family as much as those of us do today. Respect is something we should all remember to offer one another whether that be living or passed living. It’s very easy for newcomers of the field to follow suit with what they’ve been accustomed to seeing, and that’s aggressiveness through shows.

Very seldom will you see those in the field show a valid concern for those in the realm. Why ? because the programming networks are in it for the ratings and profits so do keep that in mind when it comes to thinking of creating or joining a team involving the paranormal.

If there’s one thing that I’ve learned of the field when it comes to shows, not everything is evil. Sure there are bad ghosts just like there are bad people, but evil ? folks tend to make connection with horror movies too much. If you’ve ever had a loved one that past, you know they were dearly loved and evil wasn’t something you even considered to being a part of their life. just keep in mind, reality tv is nothing like the real world when it comes to the paranormal.
